A neo-classical former police station from 1914 at Wielandplatz in the west of Basel.

EN: The former police station on Wielandplatz was built in 1914 by the architects Widmer, Erlacher and Calini. The symmetrical two-storey neo-classical building has a front atrium and a large Basel crest in the pediment.
Today in the building a lunch and afternoon care for school children is offered.
DE: Der ehemalige Polizeiposten am Wielandplatz wurde 1914 von den Architekten Widmer, Erlacher und Calini erbaut. Das symmetrische zweistöckige klassizistische Gebäude hat einen Säulenvorhof und ein grosses Basler Wappen im Frontgiebel.
Heute wird in dem Gebäude ein Mittagstisch und Nachmittagsbetreuung für Schulkinder angeboten.
