This fall was unknown for years as it was part of the base. Now it is part of the Trinity Trails.

The military base used to be Carswell Air Force Base.

The fall can be reached either from the trailhead where SH-183 crosses the Trinity River (1/2 mile walk on paved trail) or from Airfield Falls Trailhead on Pumphrey Drive (the road off 183 that leads to the Base).
