The former Railway Station houses historical accounts of the railway & its association with Mount Morgan gold mine, at the time the world's largest. There is a railway carriage where you can watch in 3D a movie of the Rack Railway used to get over the razorback which had a gradient of 1 in 16.5.
The railway station offered passenger services prior to closing & there is a Hunslet Steam loco awaiting restoration. A restored rail motor from 1956 is waiting at the platform, however the line closed years ago.
An original water tank, water crane & platform luggage cart are also on display.
