Two expansive murals offer a glimpse into Little Falls’ early 1900’s history. Both are painted on the Hennepin Paper Company warehouse just to the west of Memorial Bridge. The main street depiction faces Broadway Avenue and shows the downtown business district with its early automobiles. Minnesota Power and Light fuels the globe lights gracing the sidewalks. One of the cars is marked with the emblem of the Lindberg Lions, a local community service group.
The second mural pertains to the logging industry and is located just a few feet from the railroad tracks. It faces the Mississippi River and shows the logs rolling down the river to the mills. The dam and the electric plant are on the far left of the painting. Both murals were painted by Frank Gosiak in 1991.
