There are some picturesque settings for playing ball, but this has to be up there. Looking out over Joe Batt's Arm and the North Atlantic. On "Iceberg Alley", it's not uncommon this time of year to have an iceberg float by during the game.

Although I bet the openness of the area really makes for some cold spring and autumn games (well, for that matter cold summer games in Newfoundland!). It's also probably pretty tough to hit one out of the park with the prevailing westerlies in the face.
The diamond and surrounding park are owned and maintained by the Town of Fogo Island. There were many folks around with paint brushes just sprucing things up. Nice also that when we visited there were some summer campers playing ball.
