From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally W, first on US20 then ORE242, for 10.0 miles to the intersection with the Cross District Trail. Park and hike cross-country through chinkapin brush, about 590' S to the corner. There are LAND SURVEY MONUMENT and NATIONAL FOREST WILDERNESS signs mounted on a U-post which bears S, 4' distant. Found a ponderosa pine and a Douglas fir with scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present angle point bears N4.2°W from WAYMARK WMPFKB, 362' distant.
