On retrouve 4 murales sur les quais de la station de métro Jean-Drapeau. Elles rappellent le thème de l'Exposition universelle de 1967, Terre des Hommes. Elles représentent le titan Atlas, personnage de la mythologie grecque condamné par Zeus à porter la voute céleste.
Les murales sont faites de ciment peint, elles sont à même les murs. Elles ont été conçues par Jean Dumontier, architecte, en 1967.

There are four murals on the quays of the Jean-Drapeau metro station. They recall the theme of Expo 1967, Terre des Hommes. They represent the titan Atlas, a character from Greek mythology condemned by Zeus to carry the celestial sphere.
The murals are made of painted concrete, they are integrated into the walls. They were designed by Jean Dumontier, architect, in 1967.
You have to be a metro user to see them, there are two on each side of the metro line, no matter which direction you go, you can view all four.
