EN: The "Guter Brunnen" (Good Fountain) is a big stone fountain in the center of Blauen. The basin has the shape of an elongated hexagon, and is about seven meters long. The front side has the coat of arms of Bern and the year 1843 chiselled. Unfortunately I could not figure out why it is called the "Good" fountain.
DE: Der "Gute Brunnen" ist ein grosser Steinbrunnen im Zentrum von Blauen. Der Trog hat die Form eines langgezogenen Sechsecks und ist ungefähr sieben Meter lang. An der Stirnseite ist das Wappen von Bern und die Jahreszahl 1843 eingemeisselt. Leider konnte ich nicht herausfinden, warum er der "Gute" Brunnen ist.
