Also known as Timpson or Yonah Timpson Cemetery, the original FindAGrave cemetery record for Deal Cemetery was emptied (grave records deleted) after this waymark was made and approved; and a new
Timpson Cemetery entry was constructed. I have chosen not to rename the waymark itself.
I would not suggest visiting this cemetery during seasons when foliage is at its fullest. Best in winter, late autumn, or early spring. You can park (or turn in) to visit the cemetery just east of the bridge over Pawpaw Creek at
N36°41.084' W095°15.908'
You may be able to drive down and to your left and back up to the cemetery (if you have an off-road vehicle, like we have), but we chose to just pull down and park on the short segment of paving, and then hike up to the cemetery. The cemetery is entirely fenced in with no gate, making it impossible to maintain. But then, the field in which the cemetery is located also appears not to be maintained.
According to his FindAGrave entry
John B. Falling "came across the Trail of Tears in 1837 as a boy[,] but things get a bit fuzzy prior to that."
