EN: The Christian Catholic community of Trimbach was founded in 1873 and took over the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mauritius for some years. In 1908 the Kreuzkirche was built opposite the street of the old church and St. Mauritius was repurchased by the Roman Catholic community.

The church was built by the architects Arnold von Arx and Walter Real in the Swiss home style. The steeple rises only slightly above the nave, and is reminiscent of a medieval town gate.

DE: Die christkatholische Gemeinde von Trimbach wurde 1873 gegründet und übernahm vorerst die römisch-katholische Kirche St. Mauritius. 1908 wurde die Kreuzkirche gleich gegenüber der alten Kirche erbaut und St. Mauritius von der römisch-katholischen Gemeinde zurückgekauft.

Die kirche wurde von den Architekten Arnold von Arx und Walter Real im Schweizer Heimatstil erbaut. Der Kirchturm erhebt sich nur wenig über das Schiff und erinnert an ein mittelalterliches Stadttor.
