In Sharon, within Sharon Memorial Park, is the Jacob Grossman Chapel in the Woods.
The chapel is located well within the cemetery. Once in the cemetery, drive to the administrative office/welcome center to get a map, or first download the map from the web site - the chapel is marked on the map.
The chapel is not exactly in woods. In fact, it is right by the road. A sign marks the location:
"Jacob Grossman Memorial Chapel in the Woods."
A short distance behind the plaque is the altar.
The altar is made of concrete and has a low stone wall on either side. There is a tiled platform around the alter. A concrete or stone bench is behind it with a quote from the bible in both English and Hebrew.
Partially hiding the altar is a line of vegetation. Also there is a plaque about Jacob Grossman, who was a founder of the cemetery
