[DE] Das Münster von Villingen wurde von 1130-1284 gebaut, der Baustil ist sowohl romanisch als auch im gothisch. Das liegt daran, dass Teile des Münsters während der Bauphase beim Stadtbrand von Villingen 1271 abbrannten, danach wurde der Stilwechsel vollzogen.
Die beiden Türme sind ca. 50 m hoch und wurde im 15. und 16 Jahrhundert hinzugefügt.
Das Münster ist die katholische Hauptkirche von Villingen.

[EN] The cathedral of Villingen was built between 1130 and 1284, the building style is romanesque as well as gothic. The reason for this is that parts of the cathedral were destroyed while the building phase by the town fire of Villingen in 1271. After that, the building style was changed.
The two approx. 50 m high towers were added in the 15th and 16th century.
This catherdral is today still the main roman-catholic chruch for Villingen.
