Pramen se nalézá v harrachovské cásti zvané Anenské údolí. Toto místo patrí mezi ta, která jsou hojne navštevována harrachovskými výletníky. Mnozí z nich v letním období využijí možnosti se zde osvežit. O tomto prameni dokonce legenda praví, že má lécivou moc. Opravené soše sv. Jana Nepomuckého, která pramen zdobí, je už úctyhodných 170 let.
