Baroque house N° 13 belongs undoubtedly among the most beautiful houses in Tábor. Its rich facade is decorated by statues of Virgin Mary and St. John of Nepomuk together with a Latin inscription wishing happiness and success. The house, originaly two small Gothic houses, was joined and rebuilt in Baroque style in 1703, when it gained not only a new decorative facade but also valuable gable with volutes and niches. House was completely reconstructed in 1999.

There is significant diversity in the Marian beliefs and devotional practices of major Christian traditions. The Catholic Church holds distinctive Marian dogmas; namely her status as the mother of God, her Immaculate Conception, the perpetual virginity of Mary, and the Assumption of Mary into Heaven. Many Protestants minimize Mary's role within Christianity, based on the argued brevity of biblical references.
