Eine abschließende Freigabe der Nutzung dieser zusätzlichen Plätze wurde erst im Januar 2015 genehmigt, womit die Arena bei Bundesliga- und DFB-Pokalspielen nun 75.024 und bei internationalen Spielen 69.344 Zuschauer fasst. Eine weitere Kapazitätsanhebung durch den Einbau eines vierten Ranges läge laut dem Finanzvorstand der FC Bayern AG Jan-Christian Dreesen allerdings jedoch noch in weiter Ferne.
Bei Heimspielen des TSV 1860 sind aus Sicherheitsgründen (Pufferblock zwischen Heim- und Gästefans in der Südkurve) nur 71.400 Zuschauer zugelassen.
Die Sponsor- und Business-Seats sowie die Logenplätze sind zusätzlich von den Parkhäusern S0/S1 aus über Rolltreppen und gesonderte Einlasskontrollen erreichbar.
