The small bronze statue of young Carl Linne is the work of a famous Swedish artist and sculptor Carl Edhl(1873 – 1954). The statue was made in 1950 and it is currently erected aside of one of the Sweden’s most beautiful art museum Prince Eugen’s Waldemarsudde, originally the home of Prince Eugen (1865-1947), became state-owned after the Prince’s death in accordance with his will, and is now among the most-visited art museums in Sweden.
