"Auction house 1st auction is Feb. 17th at 103 East Booneslick in Jonesburg. After that they will be the first Friday of every month beginning March 2nd. If you want to sell something or if your looking for something to buy come on out to Jonesburg at 6:30 on those nights" ~ Slay's Alley, Feb. 4, 2012

Notice posted when the hardware store closed, but the auction house continued:
"Due to cicumstances beyond our control Shay's Alley will be closing its doors on April 30th after 16 years in business. Contrary to all the rumors already starting we do not know what will be going here after the building is tore down but we wish whomever it is all the best of luck. Thank you to our true friends and loyal customers for the last 16 years. We will still be having the auctions on the first Friday of every month so hope to see you there." ~ Slay's Alley
