Wooden sanctuary was built in 1903. In 1954 they put a tan brick façade over the wood structure.

In 1954 they also added an education building and enclosed the bell tower.

The church was organized in 1881 and they met in the Hico schoolhouse. They built their first church in 1887. This second church was built in 1903.
