Intershop Communications AG is a company providing omni-channel E-Commerce solutions to large-sized companies world-wide (Source: Wikipedia).

The company is the principal tenant of JenTower, the tallest building in the state of Thuringia, renting about half of the entire office space in the tower.

The company has offices on four continents, but has made Jena the company headquarters.

From 2001 to 2004, the tower was officially named Intershop-Tower. In 2004, it was renamed JenTower.
