This granite bench honoring Pontotoc County employees, stands along a walkway which honors military personnel from Pontotoc County. The bench has an engraving of a lighthouse, and Scripture from John 8:12. It reads:

ALIDA "LEE" McGEHEE
June 5, 1943 - December 21, 2010

I am the light of the world, he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12. On the front side of the bench are the words: This monument is dedicated in the memoriy and honor of all those who faithfully serve Pontotoc County.
