As you enter between two large pillars on the west side of the campus of East Central University, you step onto the Honor Plaza. This is a circular concrete plaza the center of which contains a fountain. The fountain has circular brick wall benches surrounding it, with a raised brick platform at the center. Atop this is a ferocious tiger sculpture - the mascot for the university.
A bronze plaque at this fountain describes the donor Frank R. Crabtree and the purpose of the plaza. It reads:
