Former Burger Joint - Newell, CA - Googie Architecture on Waymarking.com

I remember seeing this Googie-inspired burger joint as a kid many times as our family passed it heading home or heading to some vacation destination. We never did stop and eat a burger here. I don't remember what the name of the establishment was called. It closed in the mid-1990s and was opened again many years later as a Mexican food stand but then closed again a few years ago. Now it sits empty among weeds in the dying community of Newell.
