Krugbrücke (Crock Bridge) is the oldest bridge in the small German town Ilsenburg in the Harz mountains.
The bridge, built in the mid of the 18th century is made of granite field stones and bricks. It is 10.5 feet (3.2 m) high and 20 feet (6 m) long.
For most of the year, river Ilse is just a small creek, but in spring, after snow melt, it becomes a torrential river, which in the 1700s made the bridge an important piece of the then only road across the Harz Mountains.
