EN: The river Grosses Wasser (Great Water) forms a beautiful small waterfall, before it flows into the Doveria at Gondo, coming from the Zwischbergen Valley. A single larger step is maybe 10 meters high, next to it there are several very small steps, the whole overseeable height is perhaps a hundred meters. The particular appearance comes mainly from the surrounding rock formations. It is surrounded with forest and much wider than the watercourse. The rocks are smooth, but edgy, as if chiselled.

The waterfalls is visible from everywhere in the village of Gondo, best from a small parking lot right on the road to Zwischbergen. It would not be technically difficult to directly access the waterfall, but it is not advisable, because somewhere further up there is the automatic lock of a hydroelectric power plant.

DE: Der Fluss Grosses Wasser bildet einen schönen kleinen Wasserfall, bevor er, aus dem Zwischbergental kommend, bei Gondo in die Doveria mündet. Eine einzelne grössere Stufe ist vielleicht 10 Meter hoch, daneben gibt es noch einige sehr kleine Stufen, die ganze überschaubare Höhe ist vielleicht hundert Meter. Das besondere Aussehen kommt vor allem vom umliegenden Gestein. Es ist von Wald eingesäumt und viel breiter als der Wasserlauf. Die Felsen sind glatt geschliffen, aber doch kantig, wie gemeisselt.

Der Fall ist von überall im Dorf Gondo sichtbar, am besten von einem kleinen Parkplatz gleich an der Strasse nach Zwischbergen. Direkt zum Fall zu gelangen wäre technisch eigentlich nicht schwer, da sich darüber aber irgendwo die automatische Schleuse eines Wasserkraftwerks befindet, ist davon aber abzuraten.
