The Maui Ocean Center is a world class aquarium located on the island of Maui. It is located in Ma`alaea, which is on the way to Lahaina and Ka`anapali. It's home to thousands of fish, including some that can only be found in the waters surrounding the Hawaiian Islands. You can also see green sea turtles or honu, as well as a touch pool, where you can learn about sea urchins, starfish, and sea cucumbers. A highlight of the aquarium is the glass tube walkway, where fish and sharks swim over and beneath you.

Hours of operation: 9am-5pm, open to 6pm in July and August

Admission cost: Adults - $22, Children ages 3-12 - $15, Seniors ages 65 and up - $19
