Located within the "Stockland Glendale Shopping Centre" is this 'older' ALDI store that was wheel chair friendly, and well known discount store, which opened in 2005.

It surprised me when you can park 'right outside' the Stockland Glendale Shopping Centre, AND have direct access to the ALDI store.
There is a large awning, typical of shopping centres, but then there is direct access to the trolley bay and the shop entrance.
I couldn't see any limits to the free parking, of which there is sufficient (plenty of other shops to share it around).
There is also alcohol sales here; with slightly different trading hours, will include those in the Trading Hours. Use checkouts #4 & #5.
Plenty of token release shopping trolleys; and they also had 'free to use' plastic shopping baskets.
By my reckoning, as at 2022, the next closest ALDI stores to this defunct site are:
Edgeworth, 1.7km NW,
Cardiff, 1.9km SE,
Wallsend, 4.2km NE,
Warners Bay, 4.7km South.
