I am thinking this would be a good duty station!
Coast Guard Station Miami Beach is a multi-mission station co-located with Base Support Unit Miami and Sector Miami.
Station Miami Beach keeps a vigilant watch on Biscayne Bay, all points between Baker's Haulover Inlet and Caesars Creek, and out 30 miles into the Atlantic Ocean. The Station Miami Beach complement includes active duty and reserve men and women assigned to perform missions of Search and Rescue (SAR), Enforcement of Federal Laws and Treaties, Ports Waterways and Coastal Security, Alien Migrant Interdiction Operations (AMIO), and Environmental Protection. The personnel at Station Miami Beach also conduct collateral duties necessary to support the administrative, logistical and maintenance tasks to keep the Station at peak operating levels of readiness.
The Station responds to approximately 300+ Search and Rescue cases per year
