Former First Church of Christ, Scientist - Cortland, NY - Church of Christ Scientist on Waymarking.com

The Church has been active in Cortland since about 1894. After meeting in various locations in Cortland, the property at the corner of Greenbush and East Streets was purchased in 1918. The new church was dedicated in 1922.

A Reading Room was maintained here until 1924 when it was moved to another downtown location. It remained at various locations until 1995, when it was returned to the church building.

The building was sold to Mosaic Ministries in 2010, and the congregation is now located at 9 Clinton Avenue.
