EN: The Bockstecherhof is a two-storey building with a courtyard and a side wing on the north side. The property was mentioned for the first time in 1273 and since 1285 it was owned by the neighboring preacher's monastery. At the latest after the Reformation, it became a private property again, but the first documented owner is from the year 1598. In the year 1610, the name Bockstecherhof appears for the first time. In 1733 it was bought by the clothmaker Emanuel Ryhiner, who had it rebuilt in the Baroque style, that still characterizes the house today.
DE: Der Bockstecherhof ist ein zweistöckiges Gebäude mit einem Innenhof und einem Seitenflügel an der Nordseite. Die Liegenschaft wurde 1273 erstmals erwähnt und war seit 1285 im Besitz des benachbarten Predigerklosters. Spätestens nach der Reformation wurde es wieder Privatbesitz, man kennt aber erst einen Namen aus dem Jahr 1598. Im Jahr 1610 taucht der Name Bockstecherhof erstmals auf. 1733 wurde es von dem Tuchfabrikanten Emanuel Ryhiner gekauft, der es im Barockstil umbauen liess, der das Haus auch heute noch prägt.
