In the southeast industrial district of Penticton, Fire hall No.2, officially known as Fire Hall #202, is one of only two fire halls in the city. The main Hall, Fire Hall #201, is downtown at 250 Nanaimo Avenue West. Of 78 total members in the department, probably one quarter to one third are stationed at this hall.

The equipment lineup (info from Penticton Fire) is as follows:

PIC Ladder 202
Ladder 202 is housed at Station 202 and is a 2001 American Lafrance 75 foot Quint mounted on a Freightliner Chassis. This truck is equipped with a Hale 1750 two stage QMax pump and is powered with a 500 horse Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine. A response for this truck is generally to the large incidents or a large building, however, with a 300 gallon water tank on board it can manage the small fires as well.

Engine 202
This engine is a 2005 Hub Engineered Triple Combination CAFS Pumper, American Lafrance Eagle 134/Freightliner Chassis. It is located at Station 202. The engine has a Hale Q-Max, single stage, 1500 lgpm, 600 Imperial gallon polypropylene water tank with a Hale CAFSPro, Pneumax PTO-Driven Compressor, 20 gallon class "A" and 30 gallon class "B" foam.

Rescue 202
Rescue 202 is a 2003 Ford F550 Pro-Fire Rescue Truck and is the first-out rescue truck at Station 202. It goes to all First Responder calls within Penticton and is also sent to all regional rescue calls such as motor vehicle accidents where extrication is required. Rescue 202 carries auto extrication equipment such as Jaws of Life, rams and cutters.

Marine Rescue 202
The Rescue Boat is used for all marine rescues and searches. It can be on the road in minutes as it is kept on a trailer at Station 202. It is used on both Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake.

Also outside the station when we visited were three other pieces of apparatus normally stationed at Station 201 - Engine 204, a 1991 Anderson Engineered Triple Combination Pumper, Engine 201, a Hub Engineered Triple Combination Pumper on a Spartan Gladiator Cab & Chassis, and Rescue 201, a 2015 Freightliner M2 Crew Cab and Chassis with a HUB built - walk around rescue body.
