Much of the city of San Miguel de Cozumel is organized around Benito Juárez Park, including the tourist information office of Cozumel and the tourist police kiosk. This large public square is located close to the cruise docks and is surrounded by a number of lively restaurants, bars and shops.
The kilometer zero plate was placed in the middle of the dancing fountain in Parque Benito Juárez. It refers to the site of departure for the demarcation and urban development of the Island of Cozumel.
