The Seattle Center Monorail has had a few mishaps over the years. I've waymarked a derailment that occurred in 2005.

Our family visited Seattle for Spring Break vacation and rode the Monorail a couple of times. My stepson and I rode in the front on one trip and I took some pictures from the front seat. I casually asked the train driver if the Monorail had ever been in an accident. He said "Yes" but couldn't remember the year. I looked online back at the hotel room and located numerous articles of the last accident to occur on the Monorail which was a train collision and derailment on November 26, 2005.
