A couple of different sites date the church at 1860 or 1850, for this exercise I chose the latter. The denomination of the church when built, or any other time, it never mentioned in any text I have read.
Correction, just found in the History of Jonesburg, "The first church edifice erected here was that of the M. E. Church, South, in 1868."
The current owners have office hours of Monday - Friday 9 to 5
"Orginally built in the mid-1800s, Celebration Hall has been recently renovated to retain
all it's original charm. The focal point, the original civil war era bell, has been be brought down from
the bell tower and can be veiwed by guests, making it a fun conversaion piece.
A wrought iron staircase takes you to an upper mezzanine where additonal seating
is available. Charming light fixtures with Edison bulbs add to the 19th century charm." ~ Celebration Hall web site
