Perché sur le dôme du pigeonnier de l’Armoripark à Bégard, ce chêne a la particularité d’être ancré dans l’édifice et enraciné jusqu’au sol six mètres plus bas. La légende raconte que c’est un écureuil étourdi qui aurai semé un gland, il y a plus d’un siècle, conduisant aujourd’hui à cet arbre de 3 m de hauteurs et 1,8 m de circonférence, âgé de près de 150 ans.
Perched on the dome of the dovecot of Armoripark at Bégard, this oak has the peculiarity of being anchored in the building and rooted to the ground six meters below. The legend tells that it is a stunned squirrel who will have sown an acorn, more than a century ago, leading today to this tree of 3 m height and 1.8 m circumference, aged nearly 150 years
