In Quincy, within the Granite Links Golf Course, is this view of the cityscape of Boston.
Granite Links Golf Club is within the bounds of Blue Hills Reservation. From I-93 north, take the exit for Furnace Brook Parkway, travel around the rotary, then take the exit just before going under the highway, then travel along a road parallel to the highway, bearing right at a fork (if you take the left fork you will end up back on the highway) then, at the end of the road, take a sharp left onto Willard Street, then cross the highway and follow Willard Street parallel to the highway to the intersection with Ricciuti Drive, then drive to Ricciuti Drive to an intersection with the sign for Granite Links on the left. Take this road and drive to the parking lot. The gazebo is to the north of the lot, west of the clubhouse.
You can see the city from the parking lot. The gazebo provides a view with the best foreground scene - a fairway link.
The view is of the skyscrapers of the city viewed from the south. The left-most tall building, with an antennae at the top, is the Prudential Tower. The broad, blue, glass building is 200 Clarendon Street (formerly the Hancock Tower). The cluster of buildings on the right are a mixture of buildings around Beacon Hill and the Financial District. The gas tank with the colorful stripes is a known landmark along the Southeast Expressway, near the harbor.
The parking lot is accessible to the public - it is a private club that allows public access to some of it facilities. However, I'm not sure about availability at night - I'm going to be conservative here and say no.
