This is a modest and well kept single story building with a low pitched roof. In the middle of the hipped roof is a similar height, four-sided metal spire, which is topped by a plain cross. At the intersection corner of the property is a functional bell tower. Closer to the low brick fence on the Delprat Avenue side is a flagpole beside a memorial Time Capsule that was placed/buried on "The Feast of Christ The King", Sunday 22nd November, 1998. (By Reverend Father Ronald James Pickin, the Parish Priest).
A pink/red granite Dedication Stone is on the eastern wall of the Church, which reads:
"This stone commemorates the Blessing and Opening of "Our Lady of Lourdes Church" Beresfield, by
Most Rev. Leo Clarke D.D., Bishop of Maitland
on Sunday, 9th October, 1977.
Pastor: Rev. H.J. Fenton."
There is also a cast (probably brass, or bronze) sculpture (Probably "Our Lady") up in a corner of the front of the Church, facing the intersection.
The Presbytery is a single-storey, modest, white-painted building to the north of the Church and the off-street car park.
Weekend Masses are held: Sunday - 8am; and a Polish Mass on the 4th Sunday of the month.
Saturday Night Vigil @ 6pm.
There is a "Our Lady of Lourdes" Primary School, just down the road - towards Newcastle.
