Forest Falls is located within a steep section of Fall Creek Gorge. It can best be viewed by looking upstream from the Stewart Avenue Bridge that spans the gorge.

Forest Falls is a 45' high and 70' wide, rock-framed cascading waterfall just upstream of the Stewart Avenue Bridge. It is part of a series of waterfalls along Falls Creek in that flows through Fall Creek Gorge, a hanging valley created in the last Ice Age by the glacier that created Lake Cayuga.
