Dies ist ein Teilstück der Berliner Mauer. Es wurde anläßlich des 20. Jahrestag des Mauerfalls am 09.11.2009 dem Saarland durch die Bild Zeitung (Axel Springer SE Verlag visit link) im Gedenken an den Verlagsgründer Axel Springer (visit link) und dessen langjährige Bemühungen für die Einheit Deutschlands geschenkt.

Das Mauerstück steht auf der Wiese neben dem Landtag des Saarlandes nahe des Gehweges.

This is a Part auf the Berlin Wall. It was given to the federal state of Saarland (Germany) on 9 November 2009 by the german newspaper "Bild" (newspaper publisher Axel Springer SE visit link) on occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall .

It is dedicated to Axel Springer (Founder of Axel Springer SE) (visit link) and his longstanding efforts to the German Unity.

The wall piece is locatet on a green space beside the parliament of Saarland.
