Information on flora and fauna at The Glebe, an area of wild meadow at the rear of St.Serf's Episcopal Church in the Perthshire village of Comrie.

This sign can be found at the eastern edge of the village just off the main road to the north where there is a car park and recycling point.

At the western end of the car park is a gate which leads to the rear of the Episcopal Church of St.Serf's where this wild meadow was created in spring 2006 by the vestry of the church, along with Comrie in Colour and the pupils of Comrie Primary School.

Information on fauna includes:

BATS, BUMBLEBEES, SLOW WORMS, MOTH CATERPILLARS, and THE ORANGE-TIP BUTTERFLY.

Information on flora includes:

FRITALLARY-a bell shaped flower, ORCHIDS, THE OAK TREE, and a HEDGE-mixed with hazel,hawthorn, beech, broom, wild rose and holly.

Since the creation a survey by pupils has found species of pignut, speedwell, common sorrel, meadow buttercup, lesser stitchwort, hogweed, nettle, wood avens, cocksfoot, Yorkshire fog, and meadow grass.
