Located next to these artistic seating elements is a metal plaque that describes this piece and it reads:

Untitled is one of two sculptures by Roy McMakin at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Here, three seemingly mismatched seats--a long concrete extrusion, a heavy and immobile chair based on a portable plastic one, and a weather-resistant form based on a cardboard box--are in keeping with his sense of visual and physical humor, where objects are often not what they seem to be.
Two of the elements (bronze chair and cardboard box) seem to reach out to the viewer/visitor and invite him/her to touch and interact with them.
