EN: This old draw well stands at the roadside in the old town of Ferrette, where a trail up to the castle branches off.
The structure above ground is made of four curved stone slates, that are held together with iron clamps. There is no protective roof, but some grooves in the slate indicate, that there once was one. The shaft is secured with an iron grid. It has water in the shaft and there is a planter standing on the grid. This is the first well I have seen that has water and plants at the same time.
FR: Ce vieux puits de tir se trouve au bord de la route dans la vieille ville de Ferrette, où un sentier vers le château bifurque.
La structure au-dessus du sol est constituée de quatre ardoises en pierre incurvées, qui sont connectées avec des pinces de fer. Il n'y a pas de toit de protection, mais certaines rainures dans l'ardoise indiquent qu'il y avait une fois. Le trou est fixé avec une grille en fer. Il a de l'eau dans le puits et il y a un bacs à plantes debout sur la grille. C'est le premier puits que j'ai vu qui a l'eau et les plantes en même temps.
