Ostravice (Polish-Ostrawica, German- Ostrawitza) is a river in the districts of Frýdek-Místek and Ostrava-mesto in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The flow length is 65.1 km. The surface of the catchment area is 827.4 km². Its flow is part of the historical land border of Moravia and Silesia, some of which is oscillating along its flow. Reka was named after its sharp flow.
