In the Choctaw language, the word "aiukli" means "beautiful." The artists, Erin Cooper, Amanda Bradway and Lauren Miller chose the beautiful Choctaw girl Bella Aiukli as their model. She represents all that is wholesome and beautiful.
The mural which is the full depth of the building at 3704 N. Western, shows the young girl from the right side. She is holding her hands in front of her, palms up. Her headdress uses Oklahoma symbols: buffalo, butterfly wing, scissortail feathers and roses. Elsewhere on the mural are a catfish and a bee, further symbols.
