Die Familie Wätjen war eine Bremer Reeder- und Kaufmannsfamilie.
Die Original-Büste C.H. Wätjen hatte ursprünglich hier ihren Standort, wurde aber später in die Turmhalle der reformierten Kirche in Blumenthal versetzt. 2009 wurde eine Replik der Büste im Gedächtnistempel aufgestellt.
The Wätjen family was a shipowning family and they were traders.
The original bust of C.H. Wätjen originally stood in the temple, but was moved to the towerhall of the reformatic church in Blumenthal. In 2009 a replic of the bust was placed here.
