Neben der Pfarrkirche St. Stephan in Amstetten befindet sich ein einfacher, aus drei Steinquadern bestehender Außenaltar. Hinter dem Altar steht auf einem Sockel aus Stein ein steinernes Kreuz mit einer goldenen Figur von Jesus Christus. Im Sockel ist folgende Inschrift zu sehen:

Vor dem Altar ist eine relativ große Wiese (ohne Sitzgelegenheiten), die vielen Besuchern Platz bietet.
