The Pfälzer Bergland consists of rocks, which are around 300 million years old. This early history, when Germany was at the equator, volcanoes of fire sparks and chase sharks up to three meters long in rivers and lakes, the Urweltmuseum GEOSKOP.
Original fossils, great dioramas and a spa treatment make the prehistoric era alive again. Unique are the skeletons of the oldest Saurier of Germany, which are very close to the museum.
