[DE] In der Lidl-Filiale in Münstermaifeld können Kunden ihre PET-Flaschen in zwei Automaten recyclen lassen.
Unter dem Motto "Lidl-Kreislaufflasche" werden alle zurückgegebenen PET-Flaschen zur Nutzung neuer PET-Flaschen der Eigenmarken Saskia und Freeway angenommen und genutzt.
Dazu werden die Pfandflaschen bereits im Automaten sortiert, gepresst und können so platz- und ressourcenschonend transport werden. Die Etiketten und Verschlüsse werden dann im Recyclingwerk von den Flaschen getrennt. Danach werden die Flaschen gewaschen, zerkleinert und zu lebensmitteltauglichem PET-Regranulat verarbeitet.
Unabhängige Prüfinstitute führen strenge Kontrollen durch, die die Qualität des Granulats sicherstellen sollen.
Aus dem gewonnenen PET-Regranulat und dem PET-Granulat werden dann neue Flaschen produziert, die dann zu 55 % aus Recyclingmaterial bestehen und somit die Umwelt mit jährlich 50.000 Tonnen CO2 entlasten.
Im Abfüllwerk werden die Rohlinge erhitzt und zu neuen Flaschen aufgeblasen. Diese werden dann noch etikettiert und mit den entsprechenden Getränken befüllt. Danach erfolgt der Versand in die jeweiligen Lidl-Filialen.
