South of Wewoka on Highway 56 lies Oakwood Cemetery. As you drive through the main entrance, ahead of you is a two-story electronic singing tower, also a memorial to Elzene Trimble.
In front of the tower is a bronze sculpture of two young barefoot girls enjoying Springtime. The younger girl has a butterfly resting on her hand. The older girl has tossed her hat into the air. The sculpture is resting on an 8-sided brick base, approximately 18 inches high.
A bronze plaque on the brick reads: "SPRINGTIME / Sculptor d.. Cary with apprentices Colette King and Patricia Klein / A memorial to Elzene Miller Trimble (1912-1999) / Commissioned by her husband Vance and daughter Carol Ann. 2005"
