The full Coastal Walk is almost 10 kilometres from Tacking Point Lighthouse to Westport, so expect to take 3 to 4 hours (one-way), or it can be broken into four sections. (visit link)

You can always try to park close-by on Pacific Drive, but that can be difficult, and it might be easier to park in Arncliffe Avenue.

Galvanised chain is hung between wooden bollards as a minimal form of safety fencing, as there is a bit of uncomfortable drop if you went too close to the edge here. When I was there in September, 2016 I counted 71 padlocks, as the chain extends more than 10 metres.
