From their website:
"We provide primary fire protection for the 155 residential properties in Duffys Forest area since 1964.
"We hold our monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month commencing at 1930. If you are interested in joining or have any questions, please feel free to come down and visit us. We are located at Anembo Reserve, 9 Anembo Road Duffys Forest"
They were originally part of Terrey Hills Bush Fire Brigade, which formed in 1942. There is two connected buildings, with the older one having two roller doors, and a heavy metal security door, on the northern side. This has the training area. The other building is a light green Colorbond tall shed, with one roller door for the main fire tanker. This time I was there, they had a white equipment trailer; whereas another time that i had come for the Eva trig, there was a red equipment trailer 'standing by'.
Just north of the buildings is a small Memorial Garden, which has a bronze plaque, which reads:
"You meet people who forget you
You forget people you meet.
But sometimes you meet people you will never forget.
These are the people we remember with this garden.
these are our friends.
These are our friends who gave so very much to all of us,
to the brigade and to the local community.
We remember you warmly with a wide smile.
